Recirculators have a ring-shaped air duct. After sucking the air above the flight chamber in, diffusors recirculate the air to the fans. Recirculators may be operated independent of wind and weather, particularly outside temperatures and have significantly lower noise levels than open-flows and outdoor facilities. Year-round operations, energy efficiency and low noise levels are clear advantages.

Due to the low noise levels, high quality recirculators may even be operated in the neighbourhood of residential areas. Compared to any other system, the turbulences in recirculators are hardly noticeable. Consequently, the facility is likewise suitable for the entertainment industry and professional skydivers. Freefall is simulated at realistic conditions. The first recirculator worldwide opened in 2005. To our knowledge, there are currently four recognized vertical windtunnel manufacturers for closed systems worldwide.

All of our windtunnel models are delivered with a flight chamber in our unique full glass construction without any structural steel. For the vitrification of the flight chamber ISG uses special glass of German manufacture with particular sound insulating, scratch resistant, bullet-proof characteristics.

Our design combines maximum visibility and minimium noise in the visitors area with highest German safety standards for entertainment and Pro-Flyer operations.

The air stream in our closed windtunnel models is pratically free of turbulences. In our full glass flight chamber dropping out of the air stream is impossible. Low noise levels and energy efficiency characterize our windtunnels.

The total height of the flight area ranges between 15 and 20 meters depending on the ISG model.

Flyers enter the Ante-Chamber through a pressure gate allowing to enter and exit the Ante-Chamber while the tunnel is running.

Our Ante-Chamber is suitable for 15+ persons and temporarily allows the presence of 30 people. This is a decisive factor for entertainment operations, allowing for a running substitution of customer groups. Together with the pressure gate, this assures efficient entertainment operations and higher sales volumes.

With a maximum air speed above 170mph (270 km/h) ISG windtunnels are equally suitable for traditional belly flyers and free flyers. In our windtunnels, Pro-Flyers may train and fly all free-fly positions from sitfly through headdown.

We developed our windtunnels to create the world’s finest fun and flying experience for the sports- and entertainment industry. ISG windtunnels are equally suitable as skydiving training centres and fun attraction for the entertainment industry.

Here are some good reasons, why you should decide for an Indoor Skydiving Germany windtunnel:
